Elephant Update

Our two sponsored baby elephants in Kenya are becoming closer and closer friends. In this photo you can see our littlest sponsored elephant, Kibo, snuggling up under Suguta, our older elephant who has become his best friend and protector.

Here's Kibo lying down during their playtime - Suguta is on the right, watching over him protectively! Suguta has become the leader of the whole group of baby elephants, and she makes sure that they all behave!

Elephant Update

Our baby orphaned elephants have been doing plenty of playing this month, and it seems they are both becoming football stars! Here's Kibo kicking the ball and Suguta, who looks like she might be trying to eat the ball rather than play with it!

Suguta continues to do fantastically well as the mini-matriarch of her group, here she is looking after another one of the orphans, tiny little Tano

Our two sponsored elephants are looking forward to 2010, as they grow bigger and stronger day by day. Suguta is fantastically well and continues in her role as a 'mini matriarch', looking after other baby elephants like Kibo

Kibo is a particularly mischievous little elephant and he likes nothing better than to roll around in the mud with Suguta, who he looks up to and adores!

We have now sponsored another baby elephant called Kibo - a young bull calf of around 8-9 months old, he is a playful little chap, and seems to be completely smitten with our other sponsored elephant, Suguta! Kibo spends all day following Suguta about trying to get her to play with him!

Elephant Update

The Pet Vaccination Clinic sponsored orphan elephant Suguta has made a new friend! One of the younger elephants, a bull calf called Kibo just loves playing with Suguta and they are now partners in crime! In this picture you can see Kibo resting on Suguta...

As a 'mini-matriarch' the other baby elephants look up to Suguta and try to learn from her, even though she is still only a baby herself. Here she is in the middle, playing with Kibo and Nchan. It's great to see the baby orphaned elephants so happy after all the sadness they have been through in losing their mothers and families.

PVC on the TV!

Posted by William on Tue, 27 Oct 2009 12:22

Last night (Monday 26th October) our Nuneaton branch of the Pet Vaccination Clinic was featured in the East Midlands edition of Inside Out on BBC1.

The programme, presented by 'Springwatch' star Chris Packham, was an investigation into the difference in prices between vets in the area. Naturally, as we are always the cheapest vets around, we were approached and asked to show how it is possible to provide the highest level of service and care whilst still being the best on price!

we were ndefinately very proud to be represented on TV in this way, and we especially liked seeing our founding owner Judy Walker talking about her views on the subject!

So, it's a fact - Even the BBC says that we are the best vet in Nuneaton !

Winner!

Congratulations to Victoria Malins, who goes to the Wythall branch of the Pet Vaccination Clinic.

She entered our online competition on this website and won herself an amazing state of the art Nintendo DSi games console, and a Nintendogs game!

The dentals continue!

Posted by William on Mon, 12 Oct 2009 12:34

We must be mad because we've decided to carry on doing dentals for dogs and cats for the barmy prices listed below!

Dental care is something that we feel very strongly about - because a pet with bad teeth could be a pet that's suffering! We always recommend that owners get their pet's teeth examined regularly by a vet to ensure that any problems are spotted and problems averted!

Now is the perfect time to get your pet's teeth checked if you've been putting it off - as these prices can't stay this low for ever - this promotion is finishing on the 31st October so book your pet in today!

Everyone's been going crazy for our dental offer this month - especially now that there's not much time left! In our Pet Vaccination Clinics in Birmingham, Coventry and Nuneaton we're doing dental procedures for the seriously low fee of

£40 for cats

and

£55 for dogs!

so if you're looking for a vet that offers low-cost dental care in Birmingham, Coventry and Nuneaton, then give your nearest Pet Vaccination Clinic a call!

Whilst we humans love the Fifth of November, for many pets with a firework phobia it can be the worst night of the year. And more than ever these days, it can be the case that fireworks diplays are going on for some time before and after the official date, leading to weeks of terror for your family friend.

We hate to see any animal in distress, and the good news is that there ARE ways that you can help your pet overcome their anxiety and go on to live a life free from the fear of fireworks

If you know that your pet has a bad time of it at this time of year, we urge you to bring them down to your nearest
Pet Vaccination Clinic. We are a dedicated affordable vets based around Birmingham and we run an open surgery - which means that you don't need to book an appointment - you can just bring your pet down at a time that suits you!

So, if your pet is unable to enjoy fireworks with the family, why not bring them along to see us and we'll show you ways to beat their phobia!
