Staff

Carrie Borthwick – Practice Manager

I’m the practice manager at the Pet Vaccination Clinic in Stechford. I have been nursing for the past 16 years. I have an ANA qualification and also have completed my NVQ2 in management.
I have 2 cats, Baily and Bob. Bob is 12 years old and only has 3 legs! He was in a traffic accident and had to have one of his legs amputated, but he still gets around perfectly, and is always up to no good! Baily is 8 years old is a big ball of fluff with lots of love to give.
I have been with the PVC for the past 6 years, I love interacting with the clients and their pets. I make sure the clinic is running smoothly, ensuring that we are giving the best care to our clients at all times.

Debbie Smith – Head Vet

Hi, I’m Debbie, the new head vet at Stechford. I qualified from Glasgow vet school in 1985, and after spending two years in large animal practice dealing with cattle, pigs and sheep I decided to become a small animal vet. I enjoy all aspects of small animal medicine, but especially enjoy small animal surgery. I love working with the friendly team at Pet Vaccination Clinic Stechford.
I have four pets at home – a dog called Jasmine, a cat called Ivor and two tortoises that my daughter named Fred and Stella. When I am not working I enjoy playing tennis and scuba diving.
